The Print Market Workshop was established in 1997 by Pete Williams and Lou Thornton with the intention of creating a fine art print facility passionate about promoting the diversity and possibilities available through the medium of print.

We have striven to be as environmentally friendly as possible whilst endeavouring to develop both traditional and more boundary pushing notions of print.

We offer a range of services - editioning, individual / group workshops (on and off site), artist- led print projects plus individual commission based work. The workshop is situated at Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff, one of Wales largest and most well known centres for contemporary visual arts, performance and film.

The PMW has been involved in the creation of work for the Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff City of Culture 2008 and are currently exhibiting and curating for The CBAT Gallery in Bute Street, Cardiff Bay.

Internationally, we have work on tour in South America and in Europe and are looking forward to forging new links with artists and galleries at this years Venice Biennale, Italy.

This is the second year we have run workshops and a gallery stand at The Affordable Art Fair, Bristol. All work shown is created by contemporary professional artists with a common link through an involvement with print and the workshop itself.
